| Whether
your visit to Ashland encompasses the theater, arts, or the great outdoor
adventures that the Rogue Valley is famous for, The Bayberry Inn is
centrally located to provides easy access to all local points of interest.
An easy walk to downtown and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
The
Bayberry Inn is a spacious craftsman home built in 1925 and tastefully
decorated in country English with an Irish flavour. The decor is elegant,
the atmosphere cordial. Each room contains family heirlooms and is accented
by fresh flowers from our garden.
The Living Room centers
on a large Botticino marble fireplace surrounded by comfortable chairs
and sofas. We've found this to be the perfect setting to curl up with
a good book from our drama and classics library.
The
Dining Room, besides being the site of many delightful
breakfasts, is also furnished to accommodate cards, chess, backgammon,
and many other games. Many friendships and grateful appetites owe their
origins to our dining room.
Each morning is started with breakfast
at 9:00am. Special emphasis is placed on healthy food from local or
organic sources. Guests are treated to fresh fruit, juices, cereals
and breads, along with a breakfast entree. Enjoy Ashland from our large
front veranda, set with comfortable wicker.
All
six bedrooms have deluxe queen beds and specially selected
appointments. In each case our aim is to provide comfort with elegant,
harmonious decor. Unique antiques, good reading lamps and cozy sitting
areas grace each room. All rooms have private baths. The Bayberry and
Canterbury rooms can accomodate three guests.
Sunshine and inspiring vistas lie
just beyond our french doors, out on our southern deck. Whether you
opt for full sun or shade, the umbrellas, tables and chairs beckon you
to relax a while, to contemplate the Cascades of the Valley rim, or
the garden at your feet
